deck engage/disengage

    Default deck engage/disengage

    My blades will not disengage. When I pull the lever back it doesn't seem to have any tension. What could be my problem?

    The cable is similar to a brake cable on a bike. Two possible reasons: 1. the cable is stretched..so it is not allowing the brake pad to make connection to the pulley. 2. the cable could have been bent or cut.
    These 2 things happened to mine. Hope this helps out.
