    Default Oil pump for bar

I am not getting any bar oil from my oil pump. I have checked the oil pump pick-up and filter and they are OK. I can not check the pick-up tubing. The output to the bar does not appear clogged. At this point do I need to remove the Oil tank from the rest of the saw. Will this do me any good? Does the oil pump use a diaphragm to pump the oil? Is it possible that I do not need an oil pump. Can you suggest some simple tests to find out? Thanks for your help.

The oil pump has a filter. It may be dirty.

The pump also has a 3 gasket diaphragm; they may have split.

Run a tip cleaner in the outlet hole to the bar.
