What is the difference between the carb repair kit and carb assembly kit? There isn't much describing the assembly kit. Also, the reason I'm looking for a carb rebuild is because I had trouble starting the thing and decided to clean out the carb since it has been sitting with the gas all winter. I put it back together and the carb does not pump gas anymore. I'm not sure if I need just the gaskets or the other parts as well. Lastly what else might I need to do maintenance to get it started if this doesn't work?

Hi John,

The carb repair kit is a rebuild kit. It will include the gaskets, a new diaphragm, a new needle, etc. The Carb Assembly Kit is actually a new carburetor.

I think that either replacing the carb or rebuilding it will solve the problem you are having. I would suggest also replacing the air filter, fuel filter and the spark plug.
