How can I get the tool to adjust the high and low side of the carburetor?

Hi Frank,

The special screws on the carb adjustments are there due to the new EPA restrictions on 2-cycle engine emissions. The manufacture must certify that their engine burns fuel within the EPA requirement so they set that carb at the factory and then make the tools available to their network of trained service centers. Your best bet is to take the trimmer to your local authorized service center and have them make the adjustments for you. Another benefit of letting the shop make the adjustment is that serious damage can occur to the engine if it is adjusted too lean. The service center will ensure that the carb is not set too lean.
