    Default replacing water intake piece

I am trying to replace the water intake piece (to which the hose attaches) on a Karcher 395M pressure washer. I have removed the aluminum piece that encases the intake piece but can't figure out how to remove the piece from the metal encasement. Can your help?

Put it in the freezer overnight (Make sure there is no water in it), then it should come out if you put a screwdriver between the plastic and metal. Twist the screwdriver, don't pry.

I am trying to replace the Water intake elbow and have the same issue.
Is there a better link for that one Phantomktown recommends? I will try the freezer thing but must say, the 3 valves encased within that Plastic insert cannot be completely dried unless one chances taking them apart. I don't feel confident enough to get it back together.
