Dremel quit
I have a Dremel Mod. # 275 Type 5 30,000 rpm. I was in process of using when it began to get warm. There was no racket but it just stopped. I have extra brushes but replacing them didn't work. It seemed as if it was unplugged. I plugged it to a different receptical and still no power.

Mine did the same thing after about 2 years of "normal" use. I bought a replacement (a whole new tool), and it did the same thing after 6 months. I too changed the brushes but could not get either to work again. I really don't have an answer for you just wanted you to know your not alone... kinda makes me glad my units retail for about $30.00 and not those at $110.00. Pretty much convinced since Bosch bought out the Dremel company that the quality is not the same.

I've had mine longer than 2 yrs but it's had very little use. It also showed signs of "heating up" but not enough to be alarming, & just quit. I found that by putting pressure on the blue plastic button on the side [I thought it might be a reset button] that it would run again but quit as soon as the pressure was released. Curious, huh? Unless somebody can tell me how to fix it, it's toast. I'd rather pay more $ & have one that would last longer. I've had a 2 speed a lot longer & used a lot more that still works like a charm.
