R&R on/off switch on PC Type 352 3x21 belt sander

Part # 849317 is the replacement for the locking on/of power switch for the PC 352 series belt sanders. Problem I have is the switch is fitted with what looks like push on wire terminals instead of screw / wire down terminals. There is no pig tail on the switch itself. Any suggestions on how to attach the power supply wires to this so they won't come loose? I suppose soldering but I don't want to overheat the switch or cause a cold joint that will break. Please let me know when you get a chance. Thanks for any help you can provide. Mark

I have the same sander but my only problem is i don't know which cords to connect where on the switch. could you help me with this problem?

Hi markF,
The type of switch you have is a "trap door switch" and all you need is a paper clip.Push the paper clip down the hole along side the wire and push the door open and the wire will come out. Hope tht helps.Good luck
