    Hi Carla,

The governor springs you refer to are part of the engine assembly. Most manufactures of larger outdoor power equipment, such as lawnmowers, snowblowers, walk behind edgers, etc., build only the machine and then out source the engine to a manufacture of small engines. They rely on the manufacture of the engine to supply engine parts and warranty service through their network of service centers and dealers. To find parts for the engine on your machine you will need to know the brand, model and type number of the engine itself. This information will usually be located on a tag right on the engine. Some manufactures will stamp the information right into the castings.

Here at ereplacementparts.com we currently offer parts for Briggs & Stratton, Honda Kohler and Kawasaki engines. The links on the left side of this page will assist you in locating parts for these engines.

I hope this helps with your small engine repair!
