I cannot get the housing off to get to the recoil.

Hi Randall,

I suspect that you are stuck at the clutch drum. The clutch drum must first be removed before you can remove the housing. Removing the clutch drum can be a bit challenging but we have put together and article and video that should walk you right through it. You can find the article and video at the following link...
