No Power
When I plug in my D55146 and turn the switch to auto, the unit shows no signs of power. Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be?
Thanks

Its probably worn out brushes. Pretty easy repair. I bought a D55146 that was a Lowes return. I did the same thing. I replaced the brushes and it runs good but I can't get the brushes to seat as good as I would like (they spark quite a bit ). Apparently the brushes are a constant source of trouble. Dewalt advertises "easy brush replacement" which should tell you something. The brushes (A10157) are ofter out of stock.... but the good thing is that they don't cost much. They come in a box of 2 for about $10.80. Be sure to order 2 new springs!
