DC011 only plays via the battery, not the power cord

Hey everyone,
I've been reading the questions and posts but still haven't decided what my problem is. The radio works with the battery but, doesn't work when plugged in and also doesn't charge the battery. I checked both fuses and they seem to be OK. Does anyone know what it could be? Maybe the PCB Assy.? I also did solder the cord because it began to come apart recently if that matters.
Any suggestions will help... Thanks Matt

Check your Transformer primary and secondary

Coil ohms and also voltage output

Pull the white plug out and plug the electrical cord in outlet and measure voltage on the small white plug for voltage out of the transformer secondary
