    Default Dewalt Trigger Replacement.

At work today I was working outside of a barn on top of an extension ladder. My drill fell from the ladder to the ground and the black trigger is now missing, I could not find it amidst the tall grass. The drill is still fully functional via the white piece that was connected to the trigger. I am curious as to how I can replace the trigger. Do I need to buy an entire new trigger assembly, or is it possible to just snap in a new trigger? If I have to purchase a new assembly, how difficult is it to install?

    Hi Sean,

To bad about your drill's accident. Fortunately it should not be too hard to repair. The black piece that broke off is part of the switch assembly. You will need to replace the switch. It is part #152274-23.

We have prepared an article that I hope you will find helpful while replacing the switch. You can find the article at the following link...

I hope this helps with your repair!
