    Default Motor problems

I have a TS2400-1 and the motor is not operating at full power. Maybe 30 percent power at best with or without the circuit board soft start. I have replaced the switch, reset button and circuit board. The outlet is supplying sufficient power and I am worried I need a new motor. A replacement costs almost as much as a new table saw and all the local ridgid repairmen want an arm and a leg just to find out what the problem is. What should I do next to narrow down the problem and hopefully avoid purchasing a new motor?

I had the same problem. You need to replace the brush assembly every 2 years or so. Very easy. Part will cost about $15.
