Dust Collection

I'm trying to improve dust collection on my DW708. I noticed the last version, "type 4" , has a modified collection port that lines up behind the blade. My question will the newer port fit on an older dw708?

Hello Ron,

If you have a DW708 type 1 or type 3 and you need to replace any part of the dust collection, you will need to order part number 5140006-23. It converts the old style dust collection system to the new style.
