    Default porter cable roofing nailer

    im lost i have a older porter cable coil roofing gun and it wont cycle right it will drive the nail but the driver wont go back after. what coud b the problem?

    It's probably a seal around the cylinder. Or could be a bent driver but more than likely just a bad seal. You will have to take the gun apart, really not that hard. Start taking the gun apart from the top till you get the cylinder out. Just take your time and pay attention to how everything goes. The cylinders can be "stuck" in there after years of use, sometimes you can drive them out gently by pushing a screw driver from the bottom where the nails come out. Order a rebuild kit and you should be back in business.
