    Default ryobi790r recoil assembly

When I try to pull the cord to start my 790r trimmer, the recoil assembly is jammed. I have run into a problem trying to access it and that is that I cannot get the clutch drum assembly off. It seems that I would need to get past this assembly to see what the problem is with the recoil assembly. any tips would be greatly appreciated.

i beleive that the clutch drum has a screw down the midle of the snout. then to get the clutch off you can use an adjustable pin wrench.

there is something down there. Can't tell what the head is - might be a hex? the snout is too narrow for my hex driver. maybe i need more tools?
