    Default SAFETY LOCK BUTTON

THE SAFETY LOCK BUTTON IS BROKEN AND MISSING ON MY POULAN EL14. I CAN ACTIVATE THE SWITCH WITH A SCREW DRIVER WHILE HOLDING THE TRIGGER IN. DO I NEED TO ORDER JUST THE BUTTON (530025873) OR THE ENTIRE SWITCH ASSEMBLY (530071533)?

    Hi Doug,

You would need to disassemble your saw to be certain but most likely you will need both the switch and button. Usually it is the post on the switch that fails.

    I hope this helps!
