Default taking apart a Dewalt DC011

Hi there have just bought a DC011 Dewalt radio 4 months ago and have only now just tried it out at work and guess what, it don't work on 110v mains power or charge batteries.
It will only work via using a charged battery.
I wouldn't mind but it has been sitting in a sealed box never been used before.
I see this is a common question/fault with this particular item and was gonna try and take casing apart to check fuses etc.
How many screws are there to remove casing so that I can get to the fuses and in what order to take out?
Many thanks for all help and advice given in advance.

    Hello,
If your radio is only 4 months old and not working I would suggest taking it to a Dewalt service center to see if it is possibly a warranty issue. It should have a one year warranty. If you have never used it and it will not work on AC there is definitely a problem in the unit from the manufacture.
    Good Luck,
    WJA
