    Default torque clutch

I have a DC987 drill and the clutch slips in the drill setting. I have taken it apart and put it together 3 times looking for the problem and have not found it and could use some pointers. Thank you.

    Hi Gerard,

It sounds like the clutch is failing. The clutch is part of the transmission assembly. It is part #397892-05 and is available from eReplacementParts.com.

    I hope this helps!
