    Default Reg. my drill

I have cordless Skil drill/driver which I accidently droped on the ground from about couple of feet, the drill came a part and I have tried many times to put the drill together but so far no luck, is there a way to have this thing reassembled with out damaginging it?
I have tested the drill works fine but when I have put resistance on chuck seems like there is slipping action happening, would you please give me some clues.
    Thanks

    Hi ggk007,

It sounds like the drills transmission may be between gears. If the hi/low gear selector isn't firmly locked into one of the two gears the gearbox will slip. It is like a neutral. It is not uncommon when a drill is dropped for the selector to move a bit. Also, if the drill came apart, make sure that the selector lever engaged back to the transmission properly.

    I hope this helps!
