Porter Cable BN 125A finish nailer nose cushion

Hello,

I have a porter cable BN125A and the nose shoe recently just fell off. I don't know if its missing a piece or something but I cannot get it to stay on for anything. Does anyone know if they just slide on and stay or are they supposed to be glues or something. The nailer works now but marks up the trim I am nailing.

Hi Wes,

The cushion does just slide on. There are two grooves on the inner sides of the cushion that slide around the metal nose piece. Make sure that the nose piece slides into the grooves and it should stay put.
