    Default locksmith

    I have a Dewalt dc925 which I can hold on to the chuck in the drill mode and the motor turns but the chuck will not spin it just clicks.When I try to do this with a dw988 I have I can not hold on to the chuck without it breaking my wrist. I wonder if the transmission is bad on the dc925. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

    You might try to move your hi/low shift slide either forward or back to see if it is in between gears (or in the neutral position) that is the most popular problem we have seen. If that will not fix it, you probably will have to replace the transmission. The part number is 613237-00 Let me know if that will take care of the problem.
