    Default grasshog XP trimmer

    I working my backyard using this electric grass trimmer and all of a sadden the motor is running but the trimmer is not working and i dont know whats wrong.

    Hello everlaya08,

    There are a couple of parts to look at that may be causing this problem on your GH1000 Trimmer. You will have to take the housing apart. Once you do that, look at item #4 on the parts diagram to see if it is broken, it is the drive belt. Also look at item # 13 the flex shaft to make sure it's not broken. I'm guessing it will be the drive belt.

    My GH1000 did the same thing. The large pulley that drives the flex shaft is PLASTIC! It melted. I cannot find the part (large pulley). Perhaps it was "Fig 2" which is no longer on the parts diagram.

    Hello JimK,

    Unfortunately the manufacture does not supply the large drive pulley. You would have to order the complete motor assembly if you want to replace the pulley. It is part number 90557035.
