    Default ryobi cs30 clutches

I Had spring break in the recoil. I changed it out, but now when i put the clutches back on when i tighten them down it seems like ther pinching the recoil and it wont wind back up. If i take the clutches off it works perfect! Am i tighting them down to far? is ther a tourqe spec? Or do i have something els wrong? Any help? thanks.

Also the string keeps falling off the recoil? I think i might have it together wrong.

I would verify That items #30, 31, 32 on page B are all installed on the trimmer. These are a small washer that sits against the flywheel, a spacer tube, and a large washer that sits between the clutch plates and the front housing. I believe that these three parts provide space for the starter assembly between the clutch plates and the flywheel. If the spacer tube was worn it could also reduce the distance between the plates and the clutch and cause pinching.

    I hope this helps,
