echo gt-2000 flywheel

how does the flywheel come off on this engine. I think I have to removfe the clutch first. is there an easy way to do this?

Clutch is threaded on. Remove one hook on each clutch spring. Find tool like small steel flat chisel that fits in middle of clutch. Then tap it hard counterclockwise. Penetrating oil will help. To remove flywheel, find locknut that fits on end, screw it on end of shaft and then rap the nut with a soft hammer (brass or rubber). Dont ever hit flywheel itself. Center hole is tapered on shaft and held with a cast in key.
