chain oiler

stopped oiling the chain,reservoir still full,area is clean,no sawdust,etc. can it be the pump? saw's very reliable ,15 years.

im not sure but i think you have a plastic worm drive that runs the pump
when these are stored in a cold place the oil thickens up and gets sticky
and the pump seizes in place all you have to do is replace the worm drive and free the pump up
