compressor pump Noise level

What should the noise level be on this compressor pump. I bought a used one and it seams loud compared to my other compressor but it is not as big of pump as this one.

The noise of a compressor is determined by a lot of factors. Some are cylinder bore size,ring types ,RPM of motor Floating reed intakes or stationary reed intakes,oil or oil less pump.As long as what your hearing is a smooth load sound I wouldn't be too worried about it,its most likely just the nature of the compressor.Hope that helps.Good luck.
