Ryobi BT3000 router fence
I have a BT3000 with a table that has a hole for a mounting of a router from below. I hve a problem using the router, because if you need to move the rip fence near of over the bouter bit, you can't get close with out damaging the fence. I have looked for a different fence with an opening to accomidate the bit fo no avail. What do others do?

Use the standard Ryobi T-nuts and 5/16 x 3/4 bolts in the slot on the SIDE of the rip fence to attach a 3/4 board as long as the rip fence. The board is a 'sacrificial' part to move your work away from the router bit. You will have to notch the board over the router. I also bought some standard t-track from Rockler and added it to the board so I can mount a feather board ABOVE the table to help keep the workpiece from rising.
