Porter cable model 314

I am wondering if any one has any ideas on the following. My 314 panel saw was dropped and not only the plastic brush cap was broken, but the plastic peice that is glued into the motor housing that it screws into is also broken beyond any repair. It appears the only option is to buy a housing for $60 plus, or is there another option?

Not really.Its not worth the trouble to try to fix this kind of problem other then to replace the housing. Sorry I couldn't give you better news.Good luck.
