Ridgid MS1065LZA Ball bearing disintegrated
The Ball bearing on my 1 year old Ridgid 1065LZA Miter saw disintegrated. I see that I can buy a new bearing for $15. How difficult is it to replace this part and do yo need a press to do it? Also am I looking at potential secondary damage due to the bearing cage messing the gears up?

bearings usually are pressed on the shaft. use a bearing puller to get it off.
which bearing went out (spindle, armature)?
most likely there is more damage. teeth on gears may be worn. when you assemble it with a new bearing gears may be loud.
