    Post Brushes for DC920?

My friend says his DeWalt 920 18vt drill will be running but will then stop. If the trigger is still depressed, it can then be started again if he will manually twist the chuck. Is this drill in need of brushes? He just put a new switch in it a month ago. I believe the tool is about 2 years old or better.
    thanks for any help.

    Hey Gene.
Time for some new brush's..or look for a loose connection on the brush holder..worst case is the motor has an open in the armature and needs replaced..but check out the brush's first..
    Hope this helps..!

    Default brushes for dc920

Thanks for the reply. I got the drill back today and pulled the brushes out. That's the problem, they are shot. I ordered the replacements moments ago
