potercable bn200 brad nailer
driver unit doesn't go all the way back up so nailer will not take in another brad
it will fire and does not have any air leaks
any ideas

Hi Magoo, One of three things can cause the driver not to return. 1. the driver is bent and is causing too much resistance as it moves through the nose.After you shoot a brad and release the trigger low pressure ( air escaping out the exhaust) sucks the piston driver assembly up.2. Look closely at the nose guide(This is what the brad travels through as it enters the nose chamber.See if a piece of brad is lodged in it.3 Your bumper is starting to break up and parts of it are getting stuck between the piston and cylinder.Did you take the top cap off and remove the piston driver assembly?Hope that helps.
