    Default 5 stars makita 2040 thickness planer

    the blades on my planer hit the chip breaker when running a board through.has anyone had this problem? how to fix? does any one have a shop manual for this planer? thank you edd ander

    Default chip breaker

    Hey edd ander,
    look and see if there is an adjustment on the chip..loosen the screws and see if it moves..also make sure your knives are installed correctly..[did you change recently?] I was unable to find a owners manual anywhere on this..
