    Question need help on fixing Makita BJR181 Reciprocating saw

    hi i have a Makita BJR181 Reciprocating saw, it have power but no speed(when it newer it have power and speed) then it got real hot, and it dran battary in 15-20 min, does any one know what's wrong with it? i havent take it apart yet, please help.

    Default no power

    Hey peng,
    Check your brush's first..[once you take it apart you can look for specific problems] If your battery drains down fast you may have a bad armature..look for overheating signs..dark colors and or melted brush holders..if nothing looks obvious you might have problems with your batteries and charger..ugh ..[a qualified service center would be able to check out]
