Delta 14" bandsaw repair

Help please. Newbie to bandsaws, Just bought used Delta 14", need hinge in which top wheel shaft sits. Does the pin simply drive out? Also, does the top wheel shaft tap out of the hinge? Old hinge has been grinding on wheel spokes. Don't want to buy these parts if I can't put them in. Really appreciate your help. Thanks, Jim

Hey Jim,
I think they both drive or tap out.[also check for set screws or clip rings just in case]..but be sure and check your adjustment knob and related parts for wear to see if they are the reason the hinge has to be replaced..[the hinge should not rub against the wheel of course..] It may have been rubbing because it was out of adjustment or the knob and nut are worn out or stripped..also make sure your tires are in good shape..hope this helps..
