I bought this tool because of the Ridgid name. I used it for my home projects, cutting mostly soft wood. The motor locked up while I was cutting pine.<br>The motor replacement from ridgid is as much as a new tool. Very hard to service as well. I did not register the tool warrantee and can not find my receipt, so my hardly used saw in going to the dump.
