Very surprised to learn it's really a Homelite, a brand I have been very disappointed with over the years and would never have purchased. It ran well for 1 season then began losing power due to carbuerator problems. The replacement carbuerator costs nearly as much as the entire machine! I'm buying a Stihl.

Exactly the problem that plagued my machine. How about a recall on brush cutters?
I even followed the maintenance procedure of running fuel additive for storage and that didn't even work.
