Porter Cable C2006
I've had this for about 2 years. I bought it at Home Depot as a combination Compressor and 3 nail guns. I haven't put it up to much work duty until recently. It began to leak around the head or part 104. originally I thought part 104 so I didn't spray soak on the head to see the bubbles and now I wish I had. When I went to loosen the head it seemed lose to me. The bolts where very easy to turn so now I'm thinking the head had just loosened up. Anyway, I cleaned it up and put high temp red silcone around the tube seal and put it back together and am going to wait the 24 hours before I test it. This site is really cool and I'm so glad it's here. I'll definately buy parts from here if my fix doesn't work.

By the way does anyone know how much torque should be on the head or If I should lube the cylinder with what before I start it up again.

All in all I've been happy with my little compressor.

I replaced part #KK-4964. It works, however it ran for about 3 minutes and then started blowing air at the copper tube going into the head. Is this part 104 that needs to be replaced? It seems to be.
