Stay away from Ridgid!
OK, by now you have already ascertained that this is a mediocre saw but that's OK. Buy a used one and then you can afford to tweak it per multiple posts on how to hot rod this rig. But now I'm going to warn you about Ridgid's poor support of their products. I have a TS3650 and it came with a bum arbor. I had to find this out via the boards online and the fix required you to load 350 pounds and as assembled into a ??? and then, transport it to a service center - mine is 1.5 hrs away. Now, to the bandsaw. They no longer have the throat plates or the miter gauge and the fence is a $117 extra! Save your money and buy a Kreg. If you do a bit of reading about Ridgid's woodworking division (they are too busy laying pipe to worry about wood) and Home Depot as the exclusive distributor you will have your doubts whether or not they will be in business for another year. This question has been on my mind for the past four years since I bought the tablesaw (splendid piece of equipment). Enough said. Beware.
