it would be great if they made the lithium-ion battery pack for this and other battery operated products. the ni-cad battery is limited life and you cant recharge until the battery is discharged completely. seems that if you store the battery pack with a full charge (as recommended) they die faster. technology has been improving on everything except the battery packs
