Default 3 stars Hoover on/off switch sucks

This is an outstanding vacuum cleaner except for the poorly engineered on/off switch.

A flimsy extension is passed from the external on/off switch through the handle with a rocker knob on the end which engages the internal on/off switch, theoretically that is.

The problem is that there is insufficient internal structural pressure to keep the knob engaged with the internal on/off switch. I have tried several times to wedge this arm but to no avail. Guess I'll have to buy a new handle assembly.

Just snapped the rocker knob during installation. Looking for just the knob, but see the handle assembly is all that's available. Nice vacuum otherwise!
