    Default black & decker timberwolf 1350-09 type 1

    i have an old black & decker timberwolf right angle drill. it's dead. i've replaced the on&off switch but still get no power to it. can anyone tell me what it is i need to repair it before i spend more money on it.

    Hey mokito01,
    The 3 main components of the tool to function is the brush's, switch and cord..since you already replaced the switch, we can eliminate that one. so you have the brush's and cord left..make sure you have enough brush and that it is making good contact with the commutator of the armature..the cord should be checked with a meter for live voltage..[to make sure you are getting power..] With a test meter you can troubleshoot each component to find the specific problem..[the last component to look out for is the field..if everything else tests ok..
