    Default DeWalt 718 Blade Wobble

I have a Mitre saw with blade wobble due to the inner retainer and the gear wear. They both have grooves and I believe they need to be changed.
Would anyone know how to seperate the gear from the gear plate? Not sure of exact names of gear etc.
Any help would be very much appreciated!
    TIA

    Default blade wobble

    Hey TC95rider,
Usually the blade wobble is isolated to the inner bushing [it will wear a groove in it] # 26..part # 644999-00 and sometimes the shoulder on the spindle will round off..#28 part # 393702-00
Most of the time replacing the inner bushing will solve the problem [try that first ]
Gear wear will just be noisy on start up and running and shouldn't effect blade wobble..
The plate can be carefully removed with a screwdriver blade prying..[the spindle and gear are one assembly.].
    hope this is helpful..?
