    Default Poulan oil leak

How do I stop a Poulan 2450 chainsaw from leaking oil when not in use?

I have a Poulan 2450 With same problem oil leak. You might try replacing the O-ring on the cap. You can to ACE Hardware with the old o-ring to match the size.

I should have been more explicit. The oil leaks through the same hole that lubricates the bar. It does a fine job of lubrication when the saw is running, but then it won't stop when the saw stops.
