I have a 4 cycle troy bilt weedeater, my problem is that the head will not turn. What is my problem?
There are three common issues that can cause this. First, make sure that the engine assembly hasn't become loose from the shaft. If it has the two can slide apart and the internal drive shaft will no longer be making good contact with the clutch drum. Second, the drive shaft itself could be broken. Third, the gears in the gearbox at the bottom of the shaft could be bad.
I hope this helps,
how do you fix this if it is the intenal shaft?
